Recommended GMAT Test Prep Materials

We don't offer GMAT test prep, but we are often asked our opinion regarding the GMAT prep products we would recommend. The following recommendations strictly based on our experience as admissions consultants and what we have heard our client's say they have utilized with good results.

This is not meant to be an holistic analysis or even a comparison of GMAT test prep companies - just our opinion and forthright thoughts on what is of good value.

Also,we receive no endorsement or compensation (in any form) from any of the companies listed below.  We just believe they are good value for the money - so take it or leave it.

OUR OPINION IS THAT THE BEST VALUE LIES IN ONLINE SELF-PREPARATION.

THIS IS DUE TO ITS FLEXIBILITY, CONVENIENCE AND GENERALLY LOWER COST.

We know Veritas Prep very well. We also believe that their Live Online GMAT course is a great product. Specifically, the company really does use their best instructors for the live online course. It's always fun watching Brian Galvin teach.

On-Demand Options are generally as convenient with a lower price point.

However, they lack the interactive element of a live teaching experience.

We have always thought Magoosh had a damn good array of GMAT test problems presented via an online UI that was comparable to actual test day.  Additionally, their product is an outstanding deal with on sale for $99, which it seems that it always is. Magoosh >

OTHER SUITABLE OPTIONS INCLUDE SELF-PREPARATION VIA A MORE TRADITIONAL FORMAT - BOOKS.
